- Abstract
The article discusses an emergency aid legal doctrine in America in relation to telephone hang-ups or inadvertent calls involving the U.S. 911 emergency communication system, the Fourth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution, and a general warrant requirement. A reasonableness requirement is addressed, along with the legal aspects of police entries into homes without warrants or consent, imminent harm and U.S. constitutional laws are examined, along with the relationship between law and technology.
