- Abstract
The article discusses the legal aspects of the regulation of privacy rights and biobanks in the Netherlands as of 2016, and it mentions the country's Authority over Bodily Material Act, human rights protections, and the laws governing research involving human biological materials and personal data. The Dutch health care system is examined, along with the Netherlands' constitutional monarchy form of government and the nation's Constitution. Scientific progress-related rights are assessed.
