- Abstract
The article presents comments on the study of high-flow nasal oxygen (HFNO) versus Venturi mask oxygen therapy to prevent reintubation. Topics discussed include the use of the respiratory rate (ROX) index, the prediction of the postextubation respiratory distress during spontaneous breathing trial, and the assessment of dyspnoea among patients with rescue noninvasive ventilation (NIV). Also noted is a request for clarifications on these points.
