- Abstract
The article is devoted to the Azerbaijani-Armenian relations in the years 1918-1920. Armenia over the centuries has been claiming the native Azerbaijani lands. This was explained by her intention to create «Great Armenia». In 1918 the Azerbaijan Democratic Republic was established. Since the first days of its existence, it has led a very flexible foreign policy. The Azerbaijani Democratic Republic has always tried to create peaceful friendly relations with Armenia, was a supporter of peaceful negotiations in resolving conflict situations. But the Armenian side not only ignored Azerbaijan's peaceful position, but also pursued a policy of cleansing Azerbaijani territories and annexing them to the Ararat Republic. The article analyzes Armenia’s deconstructive policy towards Azerbaijan
