- Abstract
The purpose of this article was to analyze the characteristics that a leader should have in the context of digital organizations, with the aim of designing a digital leadership model. For this, the challenges that digital transformation presents to organizational cultures and their leaders were conceptualized. As a result, eleven competencies were identified and defined to develop digital leaders: digital mindset, centrality in people, diversity and inclusion, learning agility, flexibility, emotional intelligence, talent development, communication, collaboration, creativity and innovation and change management.
