- Abstract
The article reports that the salaries of chemical engineers have risen to fifty percent since 1996 and pay has increased by nine percent in the last two years. This was according to the statistics published by the Institute of Chemical Engineering (IChemE). According to David Brown, chief executive officer of IChemE, there has never been a better time to be a chemical engineer. The author notes that graduates who want to enter a career in chemical engineering can now command salaries in the amount of 26,000 pounds per year.
