The article describes the pre-industrial-organizational psychology employment tests that were used during the Middle Ages. Topics covered include the purpose of the masterpiece that a skilled labor need to create and submit to his guild to advance from apprentice to master, and the reliability and validity of oral examinations used by early medieval universities to determine if a student can be a good lecturer.
