- Abstract
The article focuses on the role of religion and personal values on the investment and financial decisions of investors in the United States. Religion and personal values play an important role in the investment and financial decisions of over half of all U.S. investors, according to a report by Mennonite Mutual Aid (MMA). According to MMA, whose report was based on data from a survey of investors by Opinion Research Corp. International, 79 percent of investors describe themselves as religious or spiritual (83 percent women, 74 percent men) and 56 percent of all U.S. investors--religious and non-religious--incorporate faith or personal values into their financial decisions.
