The article discusses the asbestos litigation court case in which a plaintiff seeks to hold a defendant responsible for an asbestos-related injury that was largely someone else's fault. Topics discussed include an overview of asbestos plaintiffs' lawyers' pursuit of what Richard "Dickie" Scruggs called "solvent bystanders," California Supreme Court case Sindell v. Abbott Laboratories dealing with market share liability and New York federal court case dealing with enterprise liability.
