- Abstract
An essay is presented which explores the author's insights into the movement of soldiers during wars. Topics explored include the delivery and landing of motor scooters by airplanes during World War II, the use of a Jeep vehicle by the author's grandfather in the Battle of the Bulge in Europe, the participation of U.S. Army forces in the Gulf War, and the author's post-war recollections which involve travelling in the night in the middle of explosions.
