- Abstract
The article reports on the victory of the New Democratic Party (NDP) and its representative Rachel Notley over the Conservatives for the October 2015 federal elections of Alberta. It states that the party wants a structural change in royalty received by the government from oil companies, raise incorporate tax and reinforcement of lax and labor laws. It mentions that the reason for conservative's loss was raising taxes on working classes while loosening regulatory controls on corporations.
