- Abstract
The article provides information on the three key factors of the ergonomics of indexing. The factors of this profession include posture, equipment and exercise. In terms of posture, a good-posture drill include spine straight, head uprights as well as forearms and wrists parallel to the floor. According to the Cleveland Clinic, a good posture involves training one's body for positions that cause the least strain on supporting muscles and ligaments. Meanwhile, the proper adjustments for the chair, desktop and documents are also discussed in the article.
