- Abstract
The article studies several modified multiplex polymerase chain reaction (PCR) methods for comprehensively detecting Pectinatus and other beer-spoilage cocci. It includes an in-depth analysis of the PCR primers that are designed based on the rRNA genes of beer-spoilage species of Pectinatus and cocci, as well as a discussion on the issues' implications for brewing technology.
