- Abstract
The article offers information on various studies regarding personnel selection. It mentions the study performed by F. Maire in Ebauches SA in Switzerland regarding the selection of employees that could perform production efficiency in assemblies. It says that the study only employed the acuity as criterion for the selection of employees wherein the head manager use American Optical Sightscreener. It also mentions the study conducted by John A. Bromer, J. Myron Johnson, and Paul Sevransky in Lever Brother Co. to select personnel as plant foremen among hourly workers. It states the use of man-to-man paired comparison technique wherein their supervisor and middle managers rate the employees.
