- Abstract
The article discusses the use of Wechsler Adult Intelligence Scale (WAIS) by Richardson, Bellows, Henry & Co. Inc. to evaluate the general ability of executive personnel. Population sampling of the study consists of 39 men who are appraised and on top management of a middle-sized company. The study uses standard deviations in scaled units for the 11 subsets and to calculate the Full Scale intelligence quotient (IQ), Verbal IQ and Performance IQ. Results show that the score of non-technical executive personnel on the verbal part of the Scale are higher than the non-verbal except for the Picture Completion test.
