- Abstract
Medial collateral ligament release (MCLr) is an adjunct technique in arthroscopic knee surgery involving controlled MCL lengthening to increase intra-articular space. EFORT Open Rev. 2021; 6: 669 - 75. 9 Arican G, Ercan N, Elçi M, Sahin Ö, Alemdaroglu B. Which fibers of the medial collateral ligament (MCL) should be released in the pie crust technique applied during knee arthroscopy: superficial MCL or deep MCL? Surgeons who perform more than 100 knee arthroscopies yearly were not more likely to use MCLr in their practice (70%, I n i = 44) compared to those who perform less than 100 (54%, I n i = 30), I i SP 2 sp (1, I N i = 119) = 3.34, I P i = 0.068.
