- Authors
Boller, Manuel
- Abstract
The author reflects on the 50th anniversary of the cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) invention in 2010 by the resuscitation community. The author states that only few people experiencing cardiopulmonary arrest (CPA) are successfully resuscitated by the CPR, however its application in veterinary medicine remains unclear and needs further assessment. The author discusses the history of the CPR, as well as its developments and achievements throughout 50 years.
