- Abstract
This paper illustrates the application of a multimethodological approach based on the sequential application of three different techniques for assessing the multidimensional impacts generated by the realization of the Ma. Ri. H ouse temporary housing, located in the city of Turin. The applied methodologies are (1) SWOT analysis for the preliminary examination of the project c ontext, to highlight its strengths , weakne sse s, o ppor tunities and threats, which are f undamental elements to be considered for the definition of the pro jec t strategy, (2) Stakehol der Analysis to identify the multiplicity of stakehold er invo lved a nd affe cted by the Ma.Ri. House project, highlighting their different interest s, ( 3) C omm unity Impact Evaluation (CIE) for the assessment of the nature and intensity of the possible multidimensional impacts derived from the project im ple mentation that could affe ct the s takeholder involved. Ther efore, this paper aims to investig ate local hou si ng policy, wh ich is a complex, multi-actorial and social relevance issue. The proposed methodological framework aims to support decision-makers in identifying a strategy that considers the different interests and maxi mizes the positive impacts for the different stakeholder involved. Specifically, the proposed methodological approach has been applied to evaluate the preliminary stage of the implementat ion of the temporar y housing Ma.Ri. House.
