This article discusses the writings and poetry of Pope John Paul II, born Karol Wojtyla. The author comments on the religious aspects of many of his works, including "En tu tumba blanca," "La cantera," and "Nacimiento de los confesores." The philosophical tones as well as the Biblical influences of his writings are also examined.
