- Abstract
This article presents a case study of a 2-year-old domestic longhair cat with a red right eye. The cat was diagnosed with unilateral anterior uveitis and secondary glaucoma. The article explores the potential causes of uveitis, including infectious diseases and neoplasia, and discusses the diagnostic process, including ocular examination and additional testing. The recommended treatment for the cat's condition is early enucleation to prevent the development of feline ocular post-traumatic sarcoma. The text highlights the significance of enucleation and histopathology in cases of blind and painful eyes.
