- Abstract
Differential diagnosis should always be considered and T-cell neoplasms have to be taken into account because of the similar clinical characteristics, and immunohistochemistry could help the differential diagnosis of BPDCN. BPDCN most commonly presents as cutaneous lesions and subsequently progresses to bone marrow (BM) and leukemic dissemination.1 To date, there are no guidelines for treatment of advanced BPDCN. Dear Editor Blastic plasmacytoid dendritic cell neoplasm (BPDCN) is a rare and aggressive tumor, characterized by CD4 and CD56 positivity without specific markers of B-cells and myelomonocytic cells.
