- Abstract
The article discusses written expression and the potential to enhance knowing participation in change. Human beings are natural storytellers. We conceive our lives as a web of stories and we use stories to construct meaning and to share communicate ourselves with others. Everyone has a story to tell. The process of telling one's story is both an informative and transformational act for both the storyteller and the listener. There is both ample anecdotal and scientific evidence that writing heals.
