- Abstract
This article discusses a rare case of ependymoma, a type of tumor, arising from the urinary bladder in a young female patient. Bladder tumors typically originate from urothelial cells, but non-urothelial tumors are less common. The patient underwent a complete evaluation and was diagnosed with ependymoma through pathological examination. A multidisciplinary team was assembled to determine the best treatment plan, and the patient ultimately underwent radical cystectomy. The article emphasizes the importance of leveraging collective knowledge, engaging in multidisciplinary discussions, and transparent communication with patients when faced with rare cases and limited evidence.
