The article examines the intradepartmental attitude of female employees toward their radium work at the E. Ingraham Co. in Connecticut from 1923-1935. It describes how the female employees dealt with the threat of health hazards associated with radium on a daily basis, along with their experiences as dial painters. The article also discusses the role of Ingraham in the history of radium work.
