- Title
Considerations in Day Care Cost Analysis.
- Authors
McClellan, Keith
- Abstract
The article presents a study that examines the fundamental elements to consider in operating a day care center in the U.S. It was found out that day care can be a means of achieving continual care for dependent, retarded, or emotionally disturbed children, however, there is a shortage of reliable information about the day care cost analysis. It was found out that the experience of the Welfare Council of Metropolitan Chicago in developing a system to analyze costs in children's institutions and in the field of testing, management, planning and financing, is expected to be significant in the development of a manual on day care cost analysis. The issues identified as fundamental ingredients of cost analysis procedure are also cited in the article.
