- Abstract
The article presents a study on the origin and identity of Liturgus irrasus, a specie of beetles, which has an unrecognized weevil name and a questionable type of locality. Numerous attempts on resolving its identities have failed due to lack of matching specimens. Damaged type of L. irrasus are noted to be similar to the specimens collected in Philippine islands such as Luzon and Mindoro based on a direct comparison.
