- Abstract
The article presents news briefs related to the field of science as of November 2005. Religion and science clashed in a Pennsylvania courtroom in September over a test case that could decide how evolution is taught in state schools in the U.S. New satellite images of the coverage of Arctic ice from National Aeronautics and Space Administration, show that the extent of sea ice has dropped to 2.05 million square miles. The South Wales Local Group of the Geologists' Association produced a simple fold-out leaflet exploring the building stones of Cardiff, as part of Welsh Science Week.
