- Abstract
An essay is presented on activist Henry Roe Cloud. It references the book "The Yale Indian: The Education of Henry Roe Cloud" by Joel Pfister. Particular focus is given to Cloud's advocacy for the Apache people, including warrior and leader Geronimo. According to the author, Cloud used both his education as a Ho-Chunk warrior and his colonial training at Yale University to advocate for the Apaches. Cloud's involvement with the Society of American Indians (SAI) is also discussed.
