- Abstract
The article discusses the advantages of ribonucleic acid (RNA) sequencing technology over deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) microarrays but does not include elimination of biological variability. It cites the components in gene expression experiment including Across Group Variability, Measurement of Error and Biological Variability. It also notes implications of the analysis including the impossibility of knowing whether expression patterns are characteristic of study populations or specific only to the individuals.
