Phage display extends its reach.

- Abstract
The article focuses on the issue concerning the phage display technology that determines the characteristic of proteins. Previously, phage display has been limited to the subset of proteins transferred to the periplasm due to the assemblage of the phage coat in periplasm that phage is infused with a protein incorporated in an Escherichia coli. The problem is addressed through targeting the signal recognition particle dependent pathway where the display of ankyrin-repeat proteins is made clear.
