- Abstract
This paper presents the general lines of the design of a Social Entrepreneurship Seminar, taking up the strategies applied together for its implementation, as well as the way in which its planning and implementation will contribute to the academic and institutional efforts to investigate in a relevant and open way for the surrounding community. The social entrepreneurship seminar is presented in this text as a training strategy, as an element of attracting human resources for research. Thought as a strategy that contributes to the strengthening of the research area of the University Center of the North, where it is intended, through concrete training actions to contribute to the generation of young researchers, so that, in this case, these young people can contribute and participate in the project: Development of an educational intervention model for the training of social entrepreneurs in the Northern region of the State of Jalisco. Thus, the thematic components related to the area of social entrepreneurship are presented, as well as those issues and needs that have been covered through this planning and training process. Together these training strategies lead us to reflect on the need to incorporate the research exercise in an increasingly early and practical way, conforming not only through its theoretical components, but especially in the exercise of thinking and discussing the way we generate knowledge and apply this to the social environment that surrounds us.
