- Abstract
The article explores the factors of subjecting epoxy resins to electron beam (EB) curing with the use of calorimetry technique. A technology that has been proven to be a cost-effective composite structure manufacturing method, electron beaming offers many advantages that includes reduced cycle time, long resin shelf life and low temperature curing. In the experiment conducted by the authors, they found that shorter time interval between irradiations brought about higher temperature in resin samples in multiple-step EB irradiation.
