- Abstract
The article discusses the legal aspects of the third-party software certification process in Florida as of September 2013, focusing on the admissibility of evidence rules in the state in relation to electronic records and digital image copies of documents. Several legal cases are examined, including the 2007 U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland case Lorraine v. Markel American Ins. Co. Florida law and Rules 901 and 902 of the U.S. Federal Rules of Evidence are also assessed.
