- Abstract
The article presents the case studies of a 5-year old boy and a 2-year-old boy suffering from the genetic disease xeroderma pigmentosum (XP) and treated with the use of the topical imiquimod. The article discusses the diagnosis of the basal cell cancer (BCC) in the patients which causes freckling of the face and skin cancer, the effect of the drug on patients, and the relation of mutation p.Arg415X in the disease.
