- Abstract
The article presents a study to identify variations in antibiotic treatment in case of acute rhinosinusitis (ARS) on a national level. The study employed the cross-sectional analysis of a national database related to otolaryngology and primary care ambulatory settings in the U.S. The study revealed that antibiotics were prescribed frequently and prescriptions were more likely for young patients in the primary care settings.
