- Abstract
The article presents a case study which investigates the effect of recombinant factor VII(rFVII) in patients with intracranial haemorrhage. It examines groups of patients who received rFVII and those who did not and found that those patients who received rFVII had a higher rate of mortality. It shows that administration of rFVII is harmful towards patients with traumatic intracranial haemorrhage and suggests that its use should be based on results of committed randomized clinical trials.
