- Abstract
The article provides information about the Black Theatre Workshop (BTW), which also known as Le Theartre BTW Inc., in Canada. BTW, which is considered as the oldest surviving professional English speaking theatre managed by black people, shares the stage along with other theatres like Centaur Theatre and the Saidye Bronfman Centre that continues to present theatre in English to Montreal audiences. Furthermore, BTW, which has a long history as an advocate of Black culture, is dedicated to encourage the Canadian society through drama and the performing arts.
