- Abstract
The article discusses the use of the McGrath videolaryngoscope as a primary device for airway management during rapid sequence induction (RSI). The authors highlight the higher incidence of difficult tracheal intubations in their trial and the importance of reducing pulmonary aspiration during airway management. They also address the use of a malleable stylet with the tracheal tube and the impact of experience on first-pass success rates. Overall, the study concludes that using the McGrath videolaryngoscope is beneficial for airway management during RSI.
