- Abstract
The article focuses on the Carnegie Report by the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching which reveals little attention paid by the U.S. law schools to develop competency and professional practice among law students. Topics discussed include explanation of professional identity formation and concepts of professionalism and ethics, integration of apprenticeships throughout law school course of study and professional identity of lawyers.
