- Abstract
The article explores the possible effects of the elimination of manifest disregard on arbitration agreement decision making of the contracting parties and market as a whole. It provides a brief history of judicial review, vacatur, and modification of arbitration rulings. It discusses the Hall Street Associates, L.L.C. v. Mattel, Inc. that presents mixed effects resulting from the abrogation of manifest disregard.
