The article focuses on the murals "The Destruction Of War" and "Rebuilding the World Through Education" painted by Canadian artist and mural painter Fred Ross on the walls of the Fredericton High School (FHS) in Fredericton, New Brunswick, from 1946 to 1948. It discusses the removal and storage of the murals in 1954, their discardment in the mid-1970s, and their re-creation and unveiling on June 25, 2011 based on a idea initiated by William Forrestall, a local painter and friend of the Ross family.
