- Abstract
Compounds B 31 b , B 42 b and B 46 b with hydroxy at 6-position of benzofuranone exhibited potent inhibitory activity (IC SB 50 sb = 6.25-6.80 M) against LPS-stimulated ROS production in RAW 364.7 macrophages as compared to reference compound. Similar to compound B 33 b , compound B 28 b possessing I ortho i -trifluoromethylphenyl moiety also showed toxicity while all other prepared compounds are confirmed to be nontoxic.
