- Authors
Coget, Jean-Francois
- Abstract
The article presents an overview of research concerning the Internet's effect on work-life balance from the perspectives of two groups which are technophobes and techno-enthusiasts. Researchers Judy Wacjman of the London School of Economics, Emily Rose of Australian National University, and Judith E. Brown and Michael Bittman of the University of New England surveyed a sample of Australian employees, tracked their use of the Internet, and found support for the techno-enthusiast perspective that the Internet makes balancing work and home responsibilities easier.
