In several locations of Santiago de Cuba municipality, thrips were studied, using the sampling method of careful visual inspection of the whole plant with the purpose of classify the Thysanoptera species of economical importance existing in this municipality. Also the animal-plants relationship, and their natural enemies, in wild and cultivated plants, were studied. We presented an annotated list of 13 species and 7 morfoespecies from the Thysanoptera order, 5 of them were determined up to the genus level and 2 were determined up to family level. The 20 specific taxa are located in 7 genus from four families and two suborder. The annoted list contains date, localities, innkeeper plants and natural enemies data of each taxon. The species with more number of innkeeper plants are Frankliniella insularis, Frankliniella. breviseta and Microcephalothrip. abdominalis. Thrips preferred herbaceous plants (showing 67,5% of presence), followed by bushes (24,8%) and trees (with only 6,4%). Damages caused by thrips were reported, affected plants belong to the Ipomea genus, other damages were detected in lettuce (Lactuca sativa), bean of scent (Clitoria speciosa), and verbena (Verbena tenera). Four natural enemies species were founded depredating on thyps specimens.
