- Authors
Klazenga, Niels
- Abstract
The article focuses on the proposed conservation of the name Dicranoloma against Braunfelsia in plant classification. It is inferred that the name Braunfelsia precedes and threatens the name Dicronoloma, since it is a well established genus which consists of three or four species. Also, it is often considered as closely-related to Dicronoloma, and the diagnostic morphological characters may be considered derived. Meanwhile, Dicronoloma does not have any morphological autapomorphies.
