- Abstract
The article offers briefs on new research findings in various fields of science. Researchers have found that temperature-sensing ion channels in the cells of crocodiles help them to decide whether to warm up in the sun or take a cooling swim. Two studies conducted show that genetic changes may contribute to autism disorders. The infrared light thought to have been emitted by the Universe's first stars was not seen in the satellite image taken by Rodger Thompson of University of Arizona, Tucson.
