- Abstract
The mechanism of the interpolyelectrolyte interaction and structural and morphological features of sodium lignosulfonate-chitosan complexes were studied. The optimum conditions for producing composite membranes were selected. It was found that the deformation and strength attributes of the membranes were determined by the structural and molecular properties of the biopolymers incorporated into the interpolymer complex and could be enhanced by adding cellulose fiber to the composite.
