The article examines that the exhibition includes the contribution of the Spanish architects Tomás Auñón and Joaquín Ortiz, who were part of the large group of painters, sculptors, master builders, engineers and architects who came to America as refugees from the Spanish Civil War in the mid-20th century and the architects Auñón and Ortiz arrived in Santo Domingo on the French steamer Cuba in January 1940.
