- Abstract
The article discusses the U.S. Supreme Court case Zivotofsky v. Kerry which deals about the regulation of passports and a dispute about the nature of the President's power to recognize foreign borders, and on who controls official diplomatic communications. It looks into the interpretation of the Section 214(d) of the Foreign Relations Authorization Act of 2003, determining whether the statute impermissibly intrudes upon Presidential powers under the Constitution.
