- Abstract
The Swiss company Kuori develops and distributes recyclable materials made from food by-products such as banana or nut shells. The materials are intended to be elastic, of biological origin, and biodegradable. The first application is shoe soles that cause less microplastic pollution. The Munich-based company Invitris has developed a platform technology to synthesize proteins with high yield and purity. This enables the development and large-scale production of biological drugs with new mechanisms of action. Droptical from Nuremberg supplies components for dosing technology and fluid handling, including jet dosing systems and camera-based optical analysis and measurement systems. Path to Zero from Karlsruhe provides decision-making bases for investment paths and procurement strategies in line with the Paris Agreement to industrial and commercial enterprises.
